Donald Trump reveals that he will not be taking his salary as a President

Donald Trump sat down on 60 minutes on CBS with lesley Stahl on Sunday to discuss his role as president and as he had said earlier during his campaign... he plans to put his business concerns aside and concentrate one Making America Great Again.

During the interview, he also told lesley that he is not planning to take his presidential salary!

“Well, I’ve never commented on this, but the answer is no,” Trump said. “I think I have to by law take $1, so I’ll take $1 a year. But it’s a -- I don’t even know what it is.”

Stahl reminded the president-elect, “[That’s] $400,000 you’re giving up.”

Again, Trump answered, “No, I’m not gonna take the salary. I’m not taking it.”

The business mogul is currently worth $3.7 billion — down $800 million from a year ago according to Forbes magazine.
