Kenya -A standard three pupil of Mucadamia primary school has died after her teacher, Venezio Njuguna Maina beat her up because she could not read!
According to some sources, the teacher ordered the girl's deskmates to teach her to read or beat her up.
It is believed that, he had asked the other pupils to beat her up after realizing that he had injured her earlier so that he could cover up his own mistakes.
The 10 year old girl, Joy Wangari passed away on Sunday at the Naromoru hospital while undergoing treatment.
The teacher had gone missing but has been arrested near his home in Chaka and will be arraigned in court on Wednesday after police has conducted investigations.
