Miss World Nyamira County 2016 Mercy Mokeria died on Saturday, January 28 at the Kinangop Hospital.
According to her family, Mokeria started feeling unwell after she came back home from Tanzania last year .
In December last year, She had started complaining of neck pain and was admitted at the Kijabe hospital. She was however diagnosed with thyroid disease of which she later got healed and discharged from the hospital.
In mid January 2017, she fell ill again and was admitted at the Kinangop Hospital where she died before her blood sample results could be given out.
Her father Josephat Momanyi told eDaily that ...
“My first born child, Mercy Mokeira, died today (Saturday, January 28) – and my family is headed to North Kinangop Hospital to transfer her body to a morgue in Gilgil. It is such a sad day for me.
May her soul RIP.
