Hollywood actor, Gene Wilder best known for playing the lead role in the film 'Willy Wonka' has died at the age of 83 due to complications from Alzheimer's disease.
The actor died on Sunday in Stamford, Connecticut, his family confirmed.
The comic actor has starred in several classic films such as 'The producers, blazing saddles and young Frankenstein.
Gene Wilder also played a brief role in Bonnie $ Clyde in 1967 as a kidnapped undertaker.
His fans and co-stars all over the world have send their condolences to his family and friends.
