Obama shouts to Bill Clinton at Air Force One 'Let's go!' Barack Obama was anxious to jet back home after speaking at the funeral of former Israeli President Shimon Peres on Friday. There was just one problem: Bill Clinton wouldn’t get on the plane.
“Let’s go!” Obama shouted to Clinton from the threshold of the airplane door.
US President Obama got a little impatient with fellow US delegation member Bill Clinton as they were departing on Air Force One from Israel on Friday. Obama can be heard and seen gesturing to Clinton several times “let’s go.”
Visibly antsy, Obama retreated back into the plane but still motioned Clinton to get aboard.
The president is rolling up his sleeves and looks anxious to be on his way home.
At one point, Obama yells, “Bill, let’s go.” He claps his hands to get Clinton’s attention and motions for Clinton to come aboard.
Seconds later, Obama exits the plane, stands at the top of the staircase and shouts, “Bill, let’s go, I gotta get home.”
On the tarmac prior to leaving Israel on Friday, President Obama repeatedly yelled for former President Bill Clinton to board Air Force One.
Britain’s Sky News captured footage of Obama, standing inside the plane, clapping three times then shouting “let’s go” down to the tarmac. The comment was apparently directed toward Clinton, who was not in the shot.
