Mark Zuckerberg lands in Kenya, eats Ugali and Tilapia

Thursday, 1st Sep, 2016

After leaving Nigeria, Mark Zuckerberg landed in Kenya where he intends on meeting entrepreneurs and developers and learn about mobile money.
His first stop was at iHub where he met two entrepreneurs Fausto and Mark. Then he later dropped by Mama Oliech’s for lunch with Joseph Mucheru, the Kenyan Cabinet Secretary of Information and Communications and they talked about internet access and plans of making the internet accessible to everyone in Kenya.
For lunch he had Ugali Samaki and he raved about the Kenyan cuisine.
“We ate at MAMA Oliech Restaurant. -- a local place everyone recommended. One of my favorite parts of traveling to a new country is trying the food. I enjoyed Ugali and a whole fried tilapia for the first time and loved them both!”
